Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 2026. Your privacy and trust are paramount to SnowCalculator.us.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
SnowCalculator.us does not require user accounts, passwords, or personal registrations. We do not track your precise GPS coordinates without your explicit, voluntary action. Entering a U.S. ZIP code or city name processes that query to retrieve corresponding atmospheric data, but we do not profile or sell individual search histories.
2. Third-Party Weather API Requests
When retrieving forecast data, requests are routed through our secure application server to public endpoints provided by the National Weather Service (NWS / NOAA). Your personal IP address is not transmitted directly to third-party ad networks during standard forecast lookups.
3. Contact Inquiries & Feedback
If you submit an inquiry via our Contact form, the name, email address, and message text you provide are used solely to review and respond to your communication. We never sell, rent, or distribute contact form submissions to marketers or data brokers.
